Data we collect

• Order data: name, email, shipping address, phone, order contents and status.
• Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments and its processors. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, device type and referral source, collected through analytics and advertising cookies.
• Marketing data: email address if you subscribe to our list.

Why we use it

To fulfil and deliver orders (contract), to provide customer support, to prevent fraud, to comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation), and to measure and improve advertising (legitimate interest or consent, depending on your region).

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies for the cart and checkout, and measurement cookies from Shopify and Meta (the Meta Pixel) to understand which ads lead to purchases. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time; the store continues to work.

Sharing

We share the minimum necessary data with Shopify (store and checkout), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, and advertising and analytics providers. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as required by UK tax law (currently six years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Under UK/EU GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@54pet.com and we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
